Good Agricultural Practices – The Crop

BSC sources its tobaccos from growers committed to U.S. Tobacco GAP principles and practices. These practices include the various cultural practices and farm inputs involved in growing the crop. U.S. growers are collectively the most educated and informed in the world. Grower production guidance and support is provided by county and state Extension personnel and BSC agronomists. Growers maintain production records according to GAP guidelines. Further, BSC contracted growers provide BSC with annual records of key production activities.
